Palaszczuk invites NZ PM to enjoy quarantine-free holiday in Queensland

Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk has invited New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern to come to Queensland for a holiday following the opening of a trans-Tasman travel bubble between the two nations.

I know she does like holidaying here,” she told the press on Wednesday.

International travel will return in less than two weeks, with Australians able to fly to New Zealand quarantine-free from April 19. However, New Zealand has reserved the right to continue, pause or suspend flights from an Australian state or territory if there is a coronavirus outbreak of concern.
