Queen makes first appearance for 2021 at RAF ceremony

The Queen has made her first public appearance of 2021, attending a ceremony to mark the 100th anniversary of the Royal Australian Air Force. Her Majesty went to a short service at the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, which she opened in 1953. The event remembers the thousands of men and women who died in operations in Europe but have no known graves. It is the Queen’s first time leaving the walls of Windsor Castle in almost five months as England’s coronavirus lockdown measures ease.
