Singapore Formula One Grand Prix cancelled for second year in a row

Singapore’s Formula One Grand Prix has been cancelled for the second year in a row due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Race promoters confessed it was a difficult decision, but a necessary one.

Race promoters said they couldn’t guarantee a full event experience while safe-guarding fans from the virus, so while they confessed it was a difficult decision they maintained it was a necessary one.

No ticket sales have been issued and Formula One has been considering location alternatives as a replacement event.
