UK vaccine passport faces opposition from more than 70 MPs
The United Kingdom government is facing a new challenge to its COVID policy after 70 politicians argued plans to use vaccine passports in the country would be divisive and discriminatory.
The scheme is being pushed to allow the quicker reopening of sports and large-scale events, but suggestions it could extend to smaller operations, such as pubs and restaurants. It is understood the UK government is looking at potentially using the NHS app to store the COVID status of its citizens.
